Kemppi India’s Sritharanandh and Durga have been elected to compete in the finals of Best Welding Engineer and Best Welder competitions that are organized by The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW India). The competition finals precede the National Welding Seminar, the biggest annual All India event to celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year of IIW India, which will be held in Kolkata on 15-17 December 2016.
Kemppi has been featured as a company case in a project funded and launched by the Nordic Council of Ministers. The new pan-Nordic initiative aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Nordic manufacturing companies and maintain manufacturing jobs within the Nordic region by improving the ability of companies to utilize automation and digitalization to their benefit.
The CEO of Kemppi Oy, Mr. Anssi Rantasalo, will leave the company for new challenges on 1 June 2017. He will continue as the CEO until 28 February 2017, taking care of the Activity Planning for 2017, as well as the closing for the year 2016. In March-May he will finalize the ongoing Asia project, as agreed with the Board of Directors of the company.
